Isn't it possible to change the photo's name before sending it to LS in OfflineSurvey ?

Like in the JS script in the signature.lsq or something ? I'm quite desperate..

That is not doable since Limesurvey requires a certain way of storing the transferred files. That is for security reasons. Otherwise someone could access files by guessing the names or trying a brute force attack.

The solution, as said, would be to let someone develop a plugin for matching file and title details.

Hi Tony and jelo,

thanks for your replies. I think I solved the issue, thanks to Tonys first advice with RelavanceStatus. It seems to work in my "tests". I first made an mistake with that RelavanceStatus-code B) .

Petteri

Hey guys,

i want to create a survey to use it as registration for our presentations.
Unfortunatly our meeting room is limited to 23 persons so the survey should close when 23 answers are given.

Is this possible?

best regards,
Sebastian

Hi Denis...

I had a chance to play with pdfReport on a live survey over the weekend and its working great, thanks again! Based on this I had a couple of other questions that you might be able to help me with or point me in the right direction?

- does the email address input that the report is to be sent to have to be part of the survey? For example, we would like to have an 'Email me this report' input and button on the final page (as part of the 'End Message') after the survey has been submitted, is there any way to accommodate this functionality (i.e. use the button in the report to trigger pdfReport with the supplied email address)?

- the 'Print your answers' link appears at the very end of the report (after the 'End Message' text). Is it possible to move this link to precede the report or to again replicate its functionality from a custom 'Download your PDF' button within the report? I notice the link on the 'Print your answers' link is:

could this be used to replicate the 'Print your answers' functionality in a custom button placed in the 'End Message'?

Finally, the PDF generated by the report didn't handle background images very well (didn't show at all), reading the documentation on the pdfReport GitHub page it mentions adding images via: or with Data URI...do you know if there is some way to use background images? (I overlay the images to build up a visual representation of the relevant survey results and am not sure if there is a way to replicate this using <img> tags).

Hopefully these make sense but let me know if any further info required. Many thanks...Rick.

Thanks for your quick help.
I think a quota should solve my problem, haven't seen this option before.

Have a nice day!

I found the problem:

in base64_to_df

I had to replace

return(read.csv(textConnection(raw_csv), stringsAsFactors = FALSE, sep = ";"))

with

return(read.csv(textConnection(raw_csv), stringsAsFactors = FALSE, sep = ","))

Sure you can... You can add a google map through JS and after each click, save the location into a hidden text input... (as an example)

Hi

- does the email address input that the report is to be sent to have to be part of the survey? currently yes
- - the 'Print your answers' link appears at the very end of the report (after the 'End Message' text). Is it possible to move this link to precede the report or to again replicate its functionality from a custom 'Download your PDF' button within the report? No … currently the pdf is done ONLY after survey is submitted , maybe you can add at gitlab.com/SondagesPro/ExportAndStats/pd...r/pdfReport.php#L285 : $this->doPdfReports();

For backcgrouund image : did you add gitlab.com/SondagesPro/coreAndTools/limeMpdf ? Maybe you can try : stackoverflow.com/a/47382927/2239406 (else : hacking pdf report to allow Watermark)

What kind of report? A report about the answers of one person? Or about all responses?

To access answers via ExpressionScript (ExpressionManager) you can find variables here:

Hi, yes report about answers for one person. When you finish survey short report will be generated for each user using pdf report.

The attached screenshot shows the <ol> version of my answer.twig along with the modified css for the targeted question. I've also attached the question as exported from the original survey.

This is a pretty simple solution. I'm in the middle of several projects right now, but I will submit a pull-request when I get some time.

Dennis...cheers for the quick response and all your help on this.

Will have a look at your suggestion for the 'Print your answers' button and also add limeMpdf to see if that helps with image layering (I also tried absolutely positioned images but that didn't work for the PDF - they were just displayed sequentially).

Best...Rick.

Can I Lock surveys from accidental deletion? - by: BHS_Kez

Hello,

We have a few surveys that we always have running, these are primarily registration of interest surveys for our school.
In the past, we have had accidental deletions of these surveys which creates a lot of work for me to rebuild and attempt to recover applications/responses we hadn't downloaded prior to the accidental deletion.

Is there a way to lock specific surveys out so that you can't delete them without administrator approval?

I have looked in so many places and I can't find an option like that anywhere, am I missing something?

Thank you in advance.

Does anyone have a solution to show the popover when you click on the 'Resume later' link? It gets hidden behind the navbar.

Can I Lock surveys from accidental deletion? - by: BHS_Kez

I can, but I was hoping for a quicker solution than going into each survey and removing the 'delete' permission for each user on each survey.

I guess that's the only way?

I was hoping for a way I could tick a selection of surveys and choose a lock option, so that even those that have permission to delete would need to enter admin credentials to delete it, making them double check what they're deleting is correct.
