Total randomization while keeping groups - by: Breut

Hi all,

I'm using 2.00+ build 130708

I have 6 groups with several questions in each group.
I would like the persons taking the test to have a totally randomized question order.

I have now set up both the groups and the questions in Randomization group names but all this does is first randomizing the groups and then randomizing all the questions within the chosen group before passing onto another group. (in other words I cannot get Q1 from G2, then Q5 from G1, then Q2 from G3, etc.)

I've been looking around the forums and manual and found many posts about randomization, among which this one. However I cannot get this working (no buildsurveysession() function in index.php in v2.00+).

A solution would be to drop the groups completely and have all the questions in one group and randomize them, but I need the groups for reporting purposes.

Please advise on how to proceed.
